What does the Hysteresis control do?+

How does Soft Knee mode work?+

Soft Knee mode gradually transitions the gate between fully closed and fully open states over the range defined by the Knee parameter (in dB). What is the Lookahead feature for?+

Lookahead introduces a small delay to the audio signal while analyzing the input in advance.
